Every cellular mast, every router, every beating chest in a room is a transmitter. Most of that energy and information dissipates as heat in walls and furniture. We think that's a design flaw — not of the transmitters, but of everything that fails to listen.
Aethion is an independent hardware lab building the listening side: rectennas that charge from the bands overhead, radar that reads a heartbeat through concrete, silicon and printable copper to make both small and cheap. The full site is under construction. The work isn't.
